Born in early 2000s, sadly The Teenage Heart Breakers missed out on their chance of living out the 80s, which is currently in the public favour as a source of aesthetic inspiration. The Teenage Heart Breakers grew up listening to the music of the 80s, and took inspiration from the different styles that came with the decade, as well as the very different styles of dress. When uniting as a band in 2019, The Teenage Heart Breakers knew that they wanted to bring these 80s elements that inspired them in their childhood, and incorporate them into their music and videos.

A message for the fans from the band ~

We  want to spread the message to the youth of today that being different is not a bad thing. Everyone should embrace how they look, how they dress and all of their quirks. Being different is not a bad thing, and people should no longer be afraid of standing out. It's time to step out of the shadows and be proud of who you are. -
